90pc of cabs in Ajman are operating illegally

AJMAN — Around 90 per cent of Ajman taxis are operating illegally, as the Traffic and Licensing Department had earlier decided to stop registering and renewing taxi licences with effect from April 1, in order to transfer all the plate numbers of the cabs to Ajman Transport Corporation (ATC).

SHARJAH — The Sharjah Police yesterday arrested a gang comprising a UAE national, Arabs, Bangladeshis and Filipinos who had been dispensing forged visit visas of the UAE and work permits for an amount of money ranging between Dh1,500 and Dh2,000.

Ajman bridge project to take off in August
